Last Sunday, we were entertained at Raglan by the Dramatiques in a performance of Alice in Wonderland. I think their danced-based storytelling is unique in Second Life, and I'd highly recommend their shows to everyone.

The Virtual World Postcard Project: Tiny steps | Patchen Barss
A couple of weeks ago, there was a request on one of the Raglan groups for some tinies to meet with someone writing about the different aspects of Second Life. I went along to talk to them, and here is the article:

New Toulouse Recovers
After the hurricane recurved, bringing a second, higher storm surge and much flooding, the residents of New Toulouse are un-boarding their windows and mopping their floors, as the city recovers.
Taloosters are a resilient and cheerful bunch in the face of adversity, and there was a lot of partying going on over the weekend. Mr Neill escaped unscathed from the underground portion of Jardin, sustained by a combination of trapped air and hard liquor.

New Toulouse has been taking a battering.

A Storm Approaches
Today, the city of New Toulouse is preparing for a storm. Hurricane Bernadette is expected to hit tomorrow. Lets hope our defences hold against the onslaught, windows here are boarded up. I may not be able to post again for some time...

Tempting Fate with the Weather
One should never be flippant where the forces of nature are concerned. After remarking that my new home at New Toulouse Jardin is likely above hurricane flood level, I woke this morning to a public service announcement to collect sandbags from the free market in New Toulouse proper.
